Sure a lot of plugins have their issues within VS, but this shouldn't prevent Corel from properly integrating these instead of just slapping them on VS as just another selling point. I've learned my way around the limitations of VS, same as you did and wouldn't want to switch to another editor as I've become used to the workflow of VS. I didn't made every upgrade since then, but most (since X7 I made every upgrade IIRC). I'm using VS since back in the days when it was Ulead VideoStudio.
